I stopped by for a late lunch (3:00pm) with a girlfriend that I hadn't seen in awhile, so we wanted to 'try something new' when we entered the restaurant, it was completely empty except for a couple of men at the bar picking up a catering order. We were told it would be dinner prices. We were warned it was Continental, guess he thought I was dressed too casual. I had an Entertainment coupon($13.00), so I naively thought it would cover most of one entree. . I didn't mind choosing without a menu, but not knowing the prices made me nervous, but I thought, how bad could it be? haha (Famous last words) We ordered the shrimp cocktail to share ( 2 large apeice); 1/2 order of Lamb (5 pieces);grilled snapper w/crab sauce. They served a side of bland vegetables to share. The lamb that was ordered Medium was good, but the thickest parts was raw. Snapper w/crab was delicious!! While eating, men starting coming into the bar and were very loud, granted it was late afternoon, but one man walking by our table told us to "SHUT UP" and started laughing. It sounded like a bunch of sailors were at the bar and we thought of leaving, but had already placed our order, so we tried to grin and bear it. To our surprise, the bill was $98.00!! Thank goodness, they deducted $18.00 (dinner discount) so we got out of there with $100 including tip. Without any cocktails! I would never go back to this restaurant, don't know how they are still in business....Maybe it's better at night, but I don't see those people at the bar getting more civil into the evening.

The place may impress some due to the fact that there is no menu or prices, and this peculiarity may give the air of being cool and different. This is not impressive to me......it is annoying to not know what choices are available and how much I am paying for those choices. You will hear that they can make anything you want. This is true, but they may not be particularly good at it. I will admit most of the food I did eat was of a high quality and well prepared. However, I must say that for the price I paid I have had better food elsewhere. If you have a meal for two plan to spend between $90-$140 dollars. The bottom line is the overall experience was not worth the price. Of course those who think that they may gain the appearance of "being unique and cool" , or "being in the know" in front of a new date or friends at this peculiar rip off.....then have at it.

My first experience here was amazing! From walking in a being seated immediatly, to having everything cooked the way you want it. When you are not worried about the cost this place is a good place to have fun and be able to talk one on one without people bothering you. The chef comes out ( mind, there are no menus) you can have whatever you want!! WHY NOT?!?!?!?!? I fell in love at this place and with this place. We loved it so much that we went back not even a week later for another bottle of merlot....

ALL, beware of the BARTENDER (JIMMY) This guy is a SNAKE. DO NOT pay your tab with a CREDIT CARD. This GUY (JIMMY) will ROB your Identity and OVER CHARGE your CREDIT CARD. He (JIMMY, the bartender) has not only done this to me, he has done this to many TRUSTED CUSTOMERS coming in for a drink or two. Travis and his BAND are great, it's so ASHAME that this character (JIMMY, the bartender) is allowed to work this type of environment?
